To beat Heroic Assault in Gotham Knights, read this.
The Heroic Assault mode in Gotham Knights is a nice break from the main game. You can play this mode with up to four friends and fight your way through 30 floors full of baddies and bosses. The game mode is fun, but it can get hard at times, especially when you get to the last ten levels.
It’s best to play with other people, but you can also play this mode by yourself in single-player mode. Here are some tricks and tips that will help you beat Heroic Assault whether you’re by yourself, with friends, or online with random people.
Pick The Best Characters
Because each person has their own skills and powers, it’s important to choose the right ones for Heroic Assault. You can beat the game mode with any character, but Nightwing or Batgirl are the easiest. If you’re playing with a group, Nightwing will make things easier for you. If not, you can use Batgirl to fight your way through the baddies.
In Nightwing’s kit are skills like “Assassins’ Mark,” which increases the damage done by the whole team by 10%. Batgirl, on the other hand, can fight through groups of enemies with skills like “Elite Beatdown,” which makes her defense better.
Focus On Communication
Try to talk to your friends about your ideas as much as possible, even if it’s hard. This is especially helpful when you get to the last ten levels, which get harder. Heroic Assault is a lot easier when you and your partners plan your strikes and strategies together. For instance, one or two players can try to cut off certain opponents while the others focus on reaching the goals.
It’s clear that not everyone in your random groups will use their mic, so be nice to the people who do and make plans with them. The game also has a way for you to talk to other players and ask for help.
Prioritize AOE Attacks
As you play Heroic Assault, you’ll have to fight groups of enemies, which is typical of heroic games. Attacks that hit a large area are the best way to beat these monsters. Your enemies’ health will go down quickly when these AOE attacks hit, making it easy for your friends to kill them.
This is another important reason why you need to have the right heroes on your team. Batgirl’s Tonfa Jackhammer ability is one of the best ones to learn before going into Heroic Assault because it does a lot of damage and stuns all close enemies.
Prioritize The Right Skills
Heroic Assault is all about fighting your enemies head-to-head and beating them. You don’t have to use stealth at all in this mode, unlike the main plot. This means that most of the skills you learn in the main storyline are useless here. Pay attention to getting skills that make you more defensive; they will help you a lot in this game mode.
Try to get the Pack Leader skills like Family Ties and Shared Skill if you are playing as Nightwing. These skills will help you and your friends. You can focus on getting the Grit skills, like HP+, for Batgirl because they are great at giving you extra defense. You should acquire the Brawler and Slugger skills for Red Hood and Robin if you want to go into Heroic Assault with them.
Complete The Objectives Quickly
In Heroic Assault, the best way to get through each floor is to complete the goals. This is because enemies will keep coming back no matter how many you kill until you finish the main target of each floor. This can be hard at times, especially when you get to the last ten levels, but the best way to do it is to play with your friends and split up the work.
On many floors, you’ll have to fix engines while large groups of enemies attack you. This can be hard, especially if you’re playing by yourself. To get through this, you should kill as many monsters as you can and then fix the engines before they come back to life. It might take a few tries, but you will finally find enough time to finish the jobs without being interrupted by enemies.
Try Going Solo or Duo
If Heroic Assault is hard for you with a four-player team, it might be because the other players are much better when there are four of them. This is because when there are four people, the mobs instantly become harder and appear more often.
Heroic Assault is most fun when played with a full team, but it can take a long time if you’re going alone or with two other people. This Doodle Cricket mode has been around for a long time, so if this is your first time playing it, you might want to try going solo or with a friend.
Kill The Mobs Before The Final Boss
The last boss in Heroic Assault is the Man-Bat, who is controlled by the main bad guy Starro the Conquerer. He is on the 30th floor. Even though this mini-boss fight isn’t too hard, you need to kill all the mobs on the floor before going to fight the Man-Bat.
This is because killing all the mobs around Man-Bat first makes it more likely that he will drop legendary items that are some of the best in Gotham Knights. Mods, clothes, and plans are just a few of the things that epic drops.
Look for Hidden Chests
A lot of secret boxes with different kinds of loot are spread out across the field. This boxes’ best feature is that they are mostly placed in the same places on all floors, making it easy to collect all of them once you know where they are. There won’t be any rare drops in these chests, but there will still be a lot of stuff to help you level up.
All three of the big rooms on each floor are meant to do different things. You will go through some caves or mines as you move from one room to the next. Take your time and look around because this is where the secret chests are. You’ll have a good idea of where these boxes will be on the other floors once you find some of them.
Remain Patient
Heroic Assault is hard, and even if you follow all of our tips, you might not get the rare drops you want. However, you will always get level 60 gear. It is only possible to get this gear in Heroic Assault and Showdown. It is the best gear in Gotham Knights.
Once you reach level 30, the drops of other items are very random. You might have to play the mode more than once to get rare drops like mods, suits, and melees. It’s pretty easy to finish Heroic Assault again after you’ve already done it once. The mobs always attack in the same way, which is easy to avoid once you know how. So keep going, and you’ll get the drops you deserve in the end. After you get these drops, each member of your team will get one on their own.
