You can find different items and sets of weapons from earlier games in the series all over Hyrule. You could dress Link in a legacy armor set that references an older game, like one for Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess, and only use weapons that go with that hero. This would let you relive some of the games’ experiences.
In the reboot of Eggy Car, Link can even change into the cartoony hero. This would make for a funny playthrough, especially when you see Link in a serious story.

There are a lot of different ways to fuse together items in Tears of the Kingdom. There are useful things you can fuse to your weapons, shields, and arrows, like valuable monster parts, and fun things you can fuse to them as well.
Get to Tarrey Town and look for a cardboard figure of George Washington. It can be fused to your shield to make your own President Hudson Shield. Getting free ads all over Hyrule is a nice way to thank Hudson. The kids will love it too.
Mess With Koroks
Let Your Imagination Run Wild
You can use Zonai devices to annoy or make the Koroks wish they had never met Link in the first place if collecting all 1,000 Korok seeds makes you angry at them. If you put a rocket on a Korok that is looking for their friend, you could shoot them across Hyrule.
You could also just use Ultrahand to throw them anywhere you want. The airbags in their backpacks will protect them anyway. Koroks is a lot of fun, but you’re the one having fun…
Pretend You’re In The Yiga Clan
A Double-Agent Adventure
You can find the Yiga armor set by going to any of the Yiga Clan camps in Hyrule. This set makes Link look exactly like a member of the clan, except for his blonde hair, which makes him look like he’s not from the clan. To fit in with the Yiga Clan, Link can use this set. He can even act like he is a member of their group.
You should only eat Mighty Bananas, use tools made for Yiga, and learn the Earthwake move in order to fully integrate. The people of Hyrule, on the other hand, won’t like this, and they’ll punish Link for wearing the armor set. If you don’t mind being on the other team, it can be fun to switch things up.
Skateboard Around Hyrule
Shredding It Up
In Breath of the Wild, shield riding was a fun feature. Tears of the Kingdom builds on this idea by adding a lot more ways to do the same things. If you fuse a mine cart to your shield, you’ll have a cool skateboard that you can use to ride around Hyrule.
Shield riding works best when going downhill, or when you hop on the rails in Shrines or on the Sky Islands. Link can try to save Hyrule again and live out his dreams of being a skater boy.
